Letter
Dear Mr. McGill:
The staff of the Commission of Fine Arts has reviewed the final design submission from the General Services Administration for the proposed U.S. Coast Guard headquarters facility on the St. Elizabeths West Campus. The staff has no objections to the final plans for this project as revised in accordance with the Commission's previous review.
With the authority delegated to staff by the Commission at its meeting of 19 November 2009, the final design submission for this project is approved as documented in the drawings and materials received and dated 2 September 2010, with the exception of the final materials selection. Please coordinate with the staff for the review and approval of on-site mockups of representative sections of the major cladding assemblies, as required by the Commission in its meeting of 19 November 2009. If there are any additional changes please also contact the staff to determine if additional review will be required. As always, the staff is available to assist you.
Sincerely,
/s/Thomas E. Luebke, AIA
