No objection to issuance of permit for proposed three-story rear addition as shown in supplemental drawings dated 18 June 2012 which indicate use of all-wood single-glazed true-divided-light windows on front (east) and side (south) facades of historic brick building. Mechanical equipment must be located where it will not be visible from public thoroughfare. Existing electric and gas meters to remain in their current location. This approval is conditional on reconstruction of front stairs to new entry door at second floor with details and dimensions to match stairs and door surround at 1212 28th St. at the same time as addition. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
