No objection to concept design for proposed third floor addition and alterations to rear ell as shown in supplemental drawings dated 1 November 2013 which indicate partial retention of rear brick wall, balcony at second floor and flat roof on addition. Recommend sills of window openings on east wall be raised 18 inches above grade to a consistent height, elimination of deck at third floor, and reconfiguration of windows on east facade of addition. Proposed terracotta cladding of brick wall was not approved and was deleted from this design. File new submission at DCRA of working drawings, including details, dimensions and cut-sheets, with permit application for review by the Commission.
