The Commission regrets that south wall of historic ell was demolished beyond of the scope of permit and construction of 2-story dog-leg in-fill addition was started prior to review and contrary to approved design (see OG 12-266). No objection to issuance of permit for a one-story frame construction rear addition with metal roof and a two-story in-fill addition in dog leg. The other elements of the approved design including: return of rear yard to original grade, no expansion of basement and wood windows that match dimensions, profile and detailing of original windows with use of half-screens are still part of the scope of the work under this permit. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design made during DCRA Technical Review must be resubmitted to the Commission for the approval prior to issuance of permit.
