No objection to revised concept design for modifications and additions to two existing office buildings (1000 & 1050 Thomas Jefferson Street, NW) for mixed use, per materials received 15 November 2024, PROVIDED there is further study of the brick piers at the residential entrance and retail storefronts; the K Street storefront fenestration; the exhaust louvers within the residential fenestration systems; and the location, size, and character of the rooftop trellises and railings. Please consult with the Commission staff regarding these comments and provide material samples for review. File permit submission at DOB with detailed and dimensioned drawings for review by the Commission.
