No objection to issuance of permit for replacement fabric awnings, a wall sign, rooftop mechanical units with screening, and repairs to the existing cupola, per materials received 2 December 2024, PROVIDED the wall sign is mounted through the mortar and not the brick and the masonry is patched after removal of the flag poles. No objection to issuance of permit for a halo-illuminated, individually pin-mounted sign, 12 inches tall in a brushed gold finish reading, "Abercrombie & Fitch" on existing sign band, per supplemental materials received 25 November 2024, PROVIDED all conduit and associated electrical equipment is not visible from the exterior. No objection to issuance of permit for 12-inch, non-illuminated sign reading, "Huckberry" and 16" x 4" door decal for store hours, per materials received 15 November 2024. No objection to issuance of permit for brick chimney repair and reconstruction per supplemental materials received 20 November 2024, PROVIDED all salvageable bricks from the existing chimneys, including the shaped bricks on the corbels, are reused in the reconstructed chimneys. No objection to issuance of permit for signage, per supplemental materials received 12 December 2024, which indicate the blade sign on the northeast corner will not be illuminated and the blade sign on the southeast corner and the sign on the south entrance canopy will be halo-illuminated. No objection to issuance of permit to replace windows, shutters, gutter, and downspout and install lantern, per supplemental materials received 2 December 2024, PROVIDED applicant restore or reconstruct any window trim revealed during removal of the vinyl windows in accordance with the Old Georgetown Board’s window policy and design guidelines, and the wall sconce is electric and mounted into mortar and not brick. No objection to issuance of permit for new signage for Warby Parker, per materials received 15 November 2024, which indicate that the individual letters, measuring 10" tall and painted white with opaque fronts and sides, will be mounted to a sign board instead of to the masonry facade. This approval supersedes the sign approved as part of OG 24-322.
