Recommendation

No objection to issuance of permit first and third floor additions with wood lap siding with flat-seam metal roofing at the dormer ends and the replacement of the hand-crimped double lock metal roof, per supplemental materials received _ June 2026, PROVIDED the applicant includes detailed cross sections for each window type to confirm they would comply with the Board's Window Policy and Guidelines and are single glazed and true-divided lite with putty profile muntins and clear glass with no low-emissivity coatings; the applicant confirms that all trim and lap siding would be painted wood and all references to PVC and Hardie are removed; label the dimension of the proposed exposure of the metal siding on the gable ends; include a detail or specification to confirm the proposed skylights would be flat; include a roof detail to confirm the new and replacement roofing would be hand-crimped, double-locked metal with no ridge cap; and confirm the proposed gutters would be half-round metal and the downspouts would be round metal to match the existing. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DOB technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval prior to the issuance of a permit.
