In its public meeting of 18 April conducted by videoconference, the Commission of Fine Arts approved, based on its prior review of the submission materials, a concept design for 37 new townhouses on Parcel Z of the Parks at Walter Reed, located at 6809 16th Street, NW, on the campus of the former Walter Reed Army Medical Center (case number SL 24-106). In its approval action, the Commission delegated to the staff the review of the final design including details such as balconies, railings, cornices, and rear projections.
For the refinement of the design and the preparation of a permit submission, please consult with the staff, which, as always, is available to assist you.
