Consent Calendar: CFA Meeting — 18 October 2018

No objection to the installation of two lightning-strike control masts, one on the roof of the main building and one adjacent to the north wall of the I-66 southbound ramp south of the River Pavilion, as shown in materials received and dated 4 October 2018. No objection to the proposed temporary installation of CulturalDC's "SPACE4: Mobile Art Gallery," a 40-foot shipping container turned into a moveable art space, in Reservation 74, as shown in materials received and dated 5 October 2018. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the final plans for the installation of a new modular office trailer to house the Friends of the National Zoo (FONZ) on the grounds of the National Zoological Park in the vicinity of the greenhouse on Research Hill, as shown in materials received and dated 4 October 2018. The existing five FONZ trailers, currently located south of Lot C and the General Services Building, will be removed once the new modular office trailer is in place and operational. No objection to the final design for the replacement building for the Southwest Neighborhood Library, as shown in materials received and dated 4 October 2019. Final design conforms to the Commission's recommendations made during the previous review. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the final design for the renovation of and additions to the Jefferson Middle School Academy, as shown in materials received and dated 4 October 2018. Final design conforms to the Commission's recommendations made during the previous review. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the concept design for the building modernization of the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (DC OSSE) Bus Depot, located at 2115 5th Street, NE, as shown in materials received and dated 9 October 2018. Both alternative schemes for the building facades are acceptable. Also included in project is the resurfacing of the depot parking area and new site lighting and landscaping. No objection to the proposed final design for the installation of an accessibility ramp at the front of the DC Metropolitan Police Department's 4th District Police Station, as shown in materials received and dated 5 October 2018. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.
