No objection to the final design for the rehabilitation of the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge, as shown in materials received and dated 1 February 2024. This project includes: replacement of the bridge deck; widening of the north sidewalk; widening the south sidewalk on the Potomac span only; creating an overlook at the D.C. abutment; upgrading traffic barriers, pedestrian railings, and light poles; repairing the bridge superstructure and substructure; repainting the steel superstructure; and replacing the existing sign structures. Scope of work includes replacement of the existing natural grass athletic field, renovation of the existing field houses, and enlargement of the track.
