Consent Calendar: CFA Meeting — 16 October 2008

No objection to the issuance of a permit for the installation of an exterior elevator enclosure on the rear facade between the original building and newer wing, as shown in materials received and dated 22 September 2008. Refer to the Historic Preservation Review Board.

No objection to the issuance of a permit for the proposed replacement windows, as shown in materials received and dated 2 October 2008. The new windows match those of the approved building addition (see case number CFA 18/SEP/08-b).

No objection to the final design for the proposed landscape design for the southeast corner of Judiciary Square, which includes walkways, benches, a water feature, and other site amenities, as shown in materials received and dated 1 October 2008. Design conforms to previously approved concepts and master plan. The proposed landscape design mirrors that of the reconstructed park on the underground parking structure in the southwest corner of Judiciary Square. No objection to the final design for the proposed ADA compliant ramps to the Memorial Chapel in the Cambridge American Cemetery and the addition of dedicated ADA parking spaces, as shown in material received and dated 2 October 2008.

No objection to the final design for the proposed wayfinding sign system for the Department of Homeland Security-Nebraska Avenue Complex, as shown in materials received and dated 2 October 2008. Design conforms to previously approved concept submission (see case # CFA 18/SEP/08-i). Refer to the Historic Preservation Review Board.
