OG 06-065
No objection to concept design for proposed door surround as shown in supplemental drawings received and dated 20 January 2006 PROVIDED it is narrowed to fit in the available space. Previously proposed shutters and alterations to cornice have been deleted from this application. The proposed basement entrance, which was not approved under the front stoop as previously proposed, has been relocated to a location where it will not be visible from public thoroughfare behind the gate of the side addition currently under construction (see OG 05-169). File new submission of working drawings, including dimensions, details and light fixture details, with permit application for review by the Commission when ready.
OG 06-070
No objection to issuance of permit for proposed replacement-in-kind of slate on Mansard roof with Vermont slate to match dimensions, color and shape of existing slate, and for lining existing gutters with copper, which will not be visible from public thoroughfare. Recommend relocation of existing thru-the-wall a/c units and repair of masonry and roof on side addition. Note is made that permit application is pending final zoning review. Any modifications to the approved design as a result of further review in the permit process must be submitted to the Commission for approval.

Recommend further study to reduce height and size of addition, and research information on brick wall in front yard which is proposed to be removed.
