The D.C.-sponsored P.N. Hoffman redevelopment of the Southwest waterfront will contain more than 2.5 million square feet of residential, hotel, office, entertainment, and retail uses in multiple block-sized parcels above underground parking, and roughly thirteen acres of public space, as shown in this rendering by EE&K/Perkins Eastman. After numerous reviews for the twenty-five-acre development, the CFA completed its review of phase I in 2016, and the project opened to the public in 2017. The CFA most recently reviewed public space elements and building concepts for phase II in October 2017.
