No objection to the issuance of a revised permit for the restoration of the roof and bell tower of an existing church, as shown in materials received and dated 8 March 2024. The revisions include providing gilded copper at the bell tower dome in lieu of plain copper, installing coated copper on the intermediate metal apron roofs in lieu of plain copper, and eliminating the eight previously proposed stucco-finish access panels at the base of the bell tower. Submission largely conforms with previous permit submission. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DOB technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
