The staff of the Commission of Fine Arts has reviewed the final submission for the rehabilitation of Parkland, a National Park Service property bounded by Malcolm X Avenue, Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, and Parkland Place, SE, in the Congress Heights neighborhood of Washington, D.C. With the authority delegated by the Commission at its meeting of 23 May 2024, the staff approves the final design for this project, as documented in the materials received and dated 9 December 2024. The Commission looks forward to the revitalization of this important neighborhood park. As always, the staff is available to assist you.
