Recommend AGAINST issuance of permit for proposed replacement front door until existing sign scheme, which is excessive, is brought into compliance. Existing awnings were installed after they were NOT approved in 1993 under case OG 93-045. All signs in bay window must be relocated 18-inches behind the glass or removed as they are not appropriate to the historic district. Sign scheme must be brought into compliance no later than 31 December 2007.
