The Commission regrets that the lattice fence was installed prior to review or permit. Recommend AGAINST issuance of permit for existing lattice fence atop a 7-ft high brick wall along the public sidewalk which is not appropriate to this building or the historic district. Recommend use of landscaping behind wall for desired screening. Existing lattice must be removed no later than 31 October 2011.
