Recommendation

The Commission regrets the historically inappropriate application of DEFS and EIFS (applied polymeric finish coating system) to this free-standing brick residence built in 1898. No objection to issuance of permit to remove all areas of DEFS and EIFS applied without review or approval as shown in drawings received 22 October 2015 PROVIDED acceptable proposal for removal method is received by 12 November 2015. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval prior to the issuance of a permit.
