Consent Calendar: CFA Meeting — 20 September 2018

No objection to the final plans for the installation of a local area wireless computer networking system (WiFi) for public access to the Internet at the World War II Memorial and the Korean War Veterans Memorial, as shown in materials received and dated 2 October 2015, provided the panel antennas are painted to match the color of the surfaces on which they are mounted. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the proposed installation of rooftop wireless telecommunication antennas on the South Building of the USDA Headquarters, as shown in materials received and dated 6 September 2018. This proposal conforms with previously approved designs for antenna installations on the South Building. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the final plans for the temporary relocation of existing internal staff radio communications antennas from the roof of the Bird House to the roof of the Elephant House, as shown in materials received and dated 31 August 2018, provided once the the Bird House renovation project is complete, in approximately two years, the antennas will be returned to its roof. No objection to the concept design for the renovation and modernization of the sports stadium at Coolidge High School, as shown in materials received and dated 6 September 2018. Option 4 is the preferred graphics treatment for the stadium. The proposed project is a second phase of the previously approved school modernization project. No objection to the proposed final design for the installation of additional security fencing at the pool entrance, and the installation of the sculpture, Iwah, by artist Jay Coleman in the courtyard at the Barry Farm Recreation Center, as shown in materials received and dated 6 September 2018. No objection to the final plans for the proposed construction of a 786 space interim surface parking lot on Parcel 2 (Dorothea Dix Building area) in the St. Elizabeths East Campus to support the Entertainment and Sports Arena and Gateway Pavilion, as shown in materials received and dated 18 July 2018, provided this interim surface parking lot is removed when additional structured parking facilities are provided as the East Campus is developed. No objection to the final plans for the proposed construction of a 207 space interim surface parking lot on the existing parking lot to the south of the RISE Center on the St. Elizabeths East Campus to support the Entertainment and Sports Arena and Gateway Pavilion, as shown in materials received and dated 18 July 2018, provided this interim surface parking lot is removed when additional structured parking facilities are provided as the East Campus is developed.
