Recommend AGAINST the issuance of a permit for the installation of replacement stairs at a deck on the upper front roof of an existing house, as shown in materials received and dated 7 March 2025, due to its incompatible design in a highly visible location. Staff notes with regret that the existing roof deck and stairs were constructed despite CFA recommending against the issuance of a permit due to the inappropriate visibility of the deck and stair on the front roof; it appears that the constructed roof deck and stair were not included in the permit issued at the time. Recommend removal of the deck and stair.
