Bing Thom’s design for the new arts complex incorporated Harry Weese’s original Arena Stage (1961) as one of the modules within a curvilinear footprint on the triangular site. The new theater complex, completed in 2010, presents a dramatic roofline along Maine Avenue, SW. The CFA most recently reviewed this project in November 2008.
