No objection to issuance of permit for proposed revisions to approved design for the replacement of existing aluminum windows, the replacement of existing overhead garage door, and a new opening for a side door at private alley as shown in supplemental drawings dated 10 September 2013 which indicate wood paneled doors and sidelights with a glazed top in garage opening, and Kolbe and Kolbe Sterling 2/2 all-wood double-hung double-glazed replacement windows with 1 1/4 inch true-divided-lite muntins to match profile and detailing of existing wood windows which will be retained and repaired. Use half-screens only. Retain existing brick mould as much as possible, matching original brick mould where needed. New window openings were deleted from the scope of the project (see previous cases OG 13-058 and OG 11-016). Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA Technical Review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.

The Commission regrets that sign on storefront glazing was installed prior to review or permit. No objection to issuance of permit for proposed blade sign with lettering reading 'Bloomers' and for existing letters applied to storefront glazing as shown in supplemental drawings dated 9 September 2013 which indicate blade sign mounted below the line of the sills of the second floor windows and removal of logo, which was not approved, from signs. Attach blade sign through the mortar joints only. Text on signs include 3/4 inch high letters reading 'underwear * sleepwear * loungewear'. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design made during DCRA Technical Review must be resubmitted to the Commission for the approval prior to issuance of permit.
