The Walking Liberty half dollar coin by CFA member Adolph A. Weinman, 1916, is considered an exemplar of Beaux-Arts medallic design from the early 20th century. The obverse features an allegoric figure of Liberty holding olive branches against a rising sun; the reverse depicts an eagle with rising wings clutching a pine tree branch.
